Verifying a fix (rescan)

After deploying a fix, press Scan now on the project overview (or run a new free scan for sites without a project).

• The finding disappears from the new report right away if the problem is gone.
• On a project, a finding is marked fixed only after it is absent from two full scans in a row, so a site that was briefly down does not "fix" everything. You get a "fixed" note in your digest.
• If the problem comes back later, the finding opens again and you are alerted.

DNS and certificate changes can take time to be visible; if the finding is still there, wait and scan again.
