Restore a table

You can restore selected tables from a PostgreSQL snapshot instead of the whole database.

  1. On the Backups tab pick a snapshot and choose Restore.
  2. Choose Selected tables and tick up to 50 tables (shown as schema.table).
  3. Choose how:
  • Replace the table (default): the table is dropped and recreated from the snapshot (--clean --if-exists).
  • Data only: rows are inserted into the existing table; the table structure stays as it is. Rows that clash with existing keys make that table's step fail.
  1. Choose the target: a new database (recommended) or the source database (typed project name and 2FA).

Each table runs as its own step, so the restore page shows exactly which table succeeded. Tables that reference each other (foreign keys) usually need to be restored together.
