Scan failed (SC-* codes)

A scan fetches your public pages the way a visitor would and runs the checks. It can fail before any result exists:

• SC-BLOCKED: the address resolves to a private, loopback or reserved network. Vigavo never scans those. Use the public address of the site.
• SC-UNREACHABLE: the site did not answer (DNS, connection or TLS error). Check that the site is online and reachable from the internet, then scan again.
• SC-TIMEOUT: the scan hit its time limit (about three minutes). Very slow pages can cause this; try again later.
• SC-UNKNOWN: anything else. Send a ticket with the code.

If your firewall or a bot-protection service blocks unknown clients, allow our user agent Vigavo/1.0 (+https://vigavo.com/bot); the bot page lists what the scanner does.

A site that has opted out is not scanned at all: see Scan safety and opt-out (code SC-OPTOUT).
